You will also experience the deepest narrow valley which trails to the Kali Gandaki that is in between the mountains of Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri. Up towards the stream is the river bed to the Kagbeni. However, the Kagbeni area is said to be restricted so for sure your tour guide will not lead you to this particular area.
Accommodation
If you can book yourself for an upper Mustang trek, accommodation is your option to live with the locals. There are some locals who are kind enough to have you accommodated in their homes. However, this is only an option as there will guests houses provided.
Whereas, to other necessities, it would be best to ask your tour guide such as the migration that happens to be in season. During winter months, most of the people living in the upper Mustang go down to the lower lands. Keep in mind that if you happened to go for upper Mustang trekking during the winter days, it would be a bit of a hassle.
